  12. I was wondering whether there is any command I can give to the Courier
  13. to force it to use compression (V.42bis) when making a connection or
  14. otherwise to cause the modem to drop connection when it can't make a
  15. connection using compression.

  17. I've looked in the manual but can't find such a command.  I tried &k3
  18. but that doesn't do it.
